A small step was made in building the Schwartz-Guich Sustainable Living Center which is designed to be off-grid, and is currently net energy neutral.  However, plans for a larger whole campus-scale electric wind project has been unsuccessful due to lack of funding and marginal financial benefit.  A large Photo-Voltaic solar panel system is currently under consideration.
